Table of contents over more than one page

edited August 2005 in General
Hello,

I want to create a table of contentens on the second page of my report (the
first page is the title). I have found the example in the web
(http://www.digital-metaphors.com/tips/tableofcontents.zip)

My table of contents will be longer than on page. So I tried to change the
example with adding empty lines into the memo. The problem is, that the
memo only appears on the first page and show the page numbers 2-4, the
lines with higher page numbers are not shown.

Is it possible to create a table of contents over more than one page?

Thank you for answer

Christine

    Hi Christine,

During the first pass of the report, all the component spacing is
calculated. This unfortunately only allots one page for the memo at the
beginning of the report. What type of information do you want to keep in
your table of contents (i.e. group headings, or detail information)? Does
this table of contents need to by dynamic? Perhaps there is a workaround
for the limitation of the example you are using.
