Optimising the Items Pipeline

Hello
I currently use "Firebird->Midas Middle Tier->Client app" setup to
feed my items pipeline. The problem I'm having is that the items
clientdataset is taking forever to open because of all the report
templates it brings down at the same time.
I would like to get the report template only when I need to. One way
to do this is to use the FetchBlobsOnDemand on the datasetprovider. The
only problem with this is that it leads to a stateful server. Is there
any way to accomplish this with reportbuilder itself?

Hi Will,

Unfortunately this is not something that is currently possible with
ReportBuilder. Thanks for the feedback, we will consider enhancing the
end-user solution in this manner for a later release.
