TppDBImage improperly printing

I am using RB 6.03. I have created a new report containing an object of
type TppDBImage. The preview for this report always displays perfectly.
When I send the report to the printer, however, about 10% of the time, the
image prints out ALL BLACK. I have reproduced the problem using entirely
different printers. Any idea how this could happen or how to avoid this?

is transparency set to true? I found that on a number of printers this would
not work.

This issue was addressed for versions of ReportBuilder after 7.04.
