DataField property resets to earlier chosen value

edited June 2006 in General
Hi,

I have an issue where the DataField property resets to an old value when
opening my project.
This is really bugging, because I tend to forget to check this before
deploying new version.

If I open the project an change the value to the correct value from the list
and compile.
The next time I open the project the value has been reset againg to the old
value.

Looking forward to a solution.

Thanks

    Hi Petter,

Which version of ReportBuilder/Delphi are you using. Does this occur with
every project? Are you certain you are saving the project before you close
it? Are you by chance loading a template in this project?

    Hi Nico,

    The version is 10.01.
I have only seen this on the current project.
The project is saved when closed.
There is no template being loaded.

Could this be a Delphi problem, a corrupted DFM file or something similar?
Funny it should be just one field on an entire report.
The field in this report have been copied from another report then edited.

    Thanks
    Petter

    Hi Petter,

Yes, this is an interesting issue. My first suggestion would be to update
your version to RB 10.03. If this does not help the problem, try recreating
some of the report in question from scratch and see if perhaps the report
definition was corrupted as you mention.
