RTL60.BPL errors on Delphi

edited November 2006 in General
Hi,

I am using Delphi Version 6.0 & RBuilder 7.04 Enterprise. Some times on
closing the report in design i start getting errors on RTL60.bpl and access
violations. This happens frequently and we need to end the Delphi32.exe from
task manager itself.

We have this issue on almost all developer computers; so i dont think it is
related to specific one computer.

Is there any service pack or patch available for RBuilder 7.04 ?

So far thanx for the support. :)

    Hi Dipak,

Does this error occur only at design time or are you able to recreate it at
run time? You might try reinstalling your version and seeing if that helps.
I would recommend downloading a trial edition of the latest version of
    ReportBuilder and testing with that.

For the record, I spent a lot of time in D6 and never saw this problem. Are
there other 3rd party components that you are using that may be causing the
    problem?

I will try with latest version.

Errors are coming on design time only. We have multiple machines installed
with same setup D6/Rbuilder and other 3rdparty components. All get these
errors. We use Win2000 / XP.

Yes there are 3rd party components are installed namely,
    -Report Builder Extra Options
    -Tee Chart

the problem is not frequent but occurance is considerable.

I don't mind be proven wrong but TeeChar hasn't seemed the most stable to
me---I just did a clean install and I'm thinking it was after installing TC
when the problems started. Hard to prove.
