PDF function creating large PDF files ...

Hi All,

Hi i using your example to convert a PDF file.

For some reason the PDF file when converted is about 30mb

Im actually creating a brochure on the fly and i have about 3 hi resolution
images on it, if i use Adobe Acrobat Professional it converts it ad its
about 250Kb without loosing any quality.

Any ideas!!!!

    Hi Trevor,

    How large are the 3 images before they are added to the PDF file?
    ReportBuilder has the ability to scale images that have been resized
    (smaller) by setting the PDFSettings.ScaleImages property to True. If you
    have already done this, you will most likely need to decrease the image
    quality of the images you are adding to your report using an imaging suite
    such as PhotoShop. You can also try setting the compression higher to
    decrease the size of a PDF file however this will not make a 30MB to 250KB
    change.
