Summing a Variable

In Report Explorer, is there any way that I can SUM a Variable field on the
design tab of a report in the Summary or a Group Band?

I recommend upgrading from RB Professional to Enterprise.

RB Enterprise includes a run-time Pascal environment called RAP. RAP enables
Developers and and end-users to code without Delphi. RAP code can be used to
add calculations and event-handlers to reports.

RAP code is stored as part of the report definition.
