Cannot install trial (professional) on D2007 U3

Hello,

I have downloaded trial version of RB pro (rbpro11d.exe is install app) and
have Delphi 2007 update 3 on my system. Update was "clean" install which
means no Delphi (except previous version) existed on my PC before (it is
Win32 Vista system). However, when I start the installation, the message
appears saying "Delphi 2007 Update 3 not detected".

Delphi installed is: CodeGear™ Delphi® 2007 for Win32® Version
11.0.2804.9245

CodeGear documentation states that version is update 3.

What can I do?

Hi Davor,

I just checked the install scripts and before it installs it checks the
version of the \CodeGear\RAD Studio\5.0\bin\bds.exe file. If this version
is 11.0.2804.9245 (same as you have below) or greater, the installation will
continue. Navigate to your bds.exe file and check that the file version
matches the version of Delphi you have.

Very strange... My BDS version differs in few minor numbers. Although, my
co-worker, who had D2007 installed all updates sequentially (not just U3 as
standalone) has proper BDS.exe version...

Maybe I must go trough complete process, or just replace BDS.EXE with his
version.
