It still not working.

Solved this by explictly giving the server ip rather than using localhost in
the cache address etc.

Sorry, I obviously did not make myself clear.
The process works (and pdf's are created) when I use Advantage Free Tables,
except that the Advantage connections remain open and connected to the data.

This behaviour only seems to occur when I connect to the data via a Data
Dictionary (Alarm Master.add) - which all my production systems do.
Without the Data Dictionary the the user stays connected and the process
and when i click on any buttons in the explorer toolbar i get access
violations

Whereas mine when i run it, it the form goes away, but it shows that it is
running in the task manager

I think that you don't understand my question. Whether I don't have an
active session created, the method
ClientReportCatalog.RefreshVolumeDirectory(vVolumeName) does not work. Try
it. I need to create a new sessio…Adding the rsWebAdapterPDF to the uses clause worked. The print button now
displays on the viewer and I am able to go straight to the PDF view by
replacing the parameter content=viewer with content=PDF on the URL

server from the demos and the cache folder is now clearing as expected.
