I would approach this as follows:

- create a main query that contains the list work orders (i.e. a summary
dataset).
- link the detail data to the main query (i.e. master/detail relationship)

For a report that consists of multiple sections, try the following
configuration
1. Create a main report and remove the header/footer (and all other bands),
so that there is only the detail band.
2. Place subr…
Try adding a TppVariable to the subreport, lets call it subVar and then use
the subVar.OnCalc to increment the Variable in the main report.
Each data-aware control (DBText) can be connected to a datapipeline. The
data-aware control displays a datafield value from the current record.
Each report/childreport traverses the datapipeline to which it is attached.

page. Therefore it might be that the images are getting recreated over and
over.

- then use the Band.BeforePrint to create/load the images
Rather than OnTraversal, try using OnRecordPositionChange.
To help performance I would also set Report.CachePages to true so that each
page is only generated once.
