The standard rich text support in RB relies on the TRichEdit in Delphi. You
can replace the rich text support in RB by using InfoPower or WPTools.

It sounds like your are loading the report definition from file or database.
After loading, the value of these properties is set to what has been saved.

Another possibility is that the report is not being regenerated for the
printer you've selected. The report may be being printed from the page
cache resulting from the screen preview. Download the demo version of RB 7

When you print to a text file, this isn't supported. The check box is a

This was a bug in the older versions. However, you can also get the error

The ExtraDevices component has the capability to print to streams. If you

It works in our tests here. What do you mean that the application goes down?
Do you get an AV, and exception, or does it freeze? Can you reproduce the
problem with one of our demos report projects? If so, then that will
eliminate you…Are you using RB 7? Do you mean the printer setup on the report object or
the printer settings specific to the printer that is selected in the printer
properties dialog? RB will use the printer setup that is specified on the
report …Try using a fixed width font such as Courier New 9 point for the memo.

The best bet (if the recipient is going to print the report) is to generate
the report to PDF using one of the third party device vendors and then send
that as an email attachment.
h…The rich text page break will not necessarily force a page break in the
report. The report engine uses an rtf engine to render the rich text. The
printer canvas is used to measure the available space, which is unique to
