not showing subreports in preview

edited May 2008 in Subreports
Hi,
I'm using RB7.04 trail download now for a couple of days to find out if
RB will suit me.

I havd added 8 subreports in the Design-tab and added a label to each
subreport at first instance to identify each subreport (Printbehavior for
each subreport is pbSection). When I go to the Preview-tab I never can
see more than 5 subreports.
How can I solve this issue to see all subreports.

regards,
Marcel

    Hi Marcels.

    Thank you for trying ReportBuilder!

Section subreports by definition will start printing on their own page.
They are generally meant to make it easier to combine numerous single
reports into one report. Be sure you are placing all the section subreports
into the detail band of the main report. It is also a good idea to remove
any other bands from the main report (Header, Footer, etc.).

I assume the reason you are using RB 7.04 is that you are also using Delphi
    5. RB 7.04 is a fairly old version of ReportBuilder and we have made
countless enhancements and hundreds of bug fixes since its release. We
would strongly recommend that you consider upgrading to a newer version of
Delphi and trying the latest version of ReportBuilder (10.08).

Trial versions are limited to 5 pages of output - this is noted on the trial
    version download page.

There is no limit to the number of subreports that can be used to create a
    report layout.

I recommend purchasing a license - we offer a 30-day money back guarantee on
    our products.

    Thanks for supporting RB!
