Trouble with Group Headers
I have a master/detail report where I'm getting some unwanted behavior.
Here is an example of what my report looks like
Name1
Name2
12/1/2008 1:00 AM Some message
1:10 AM Another message
5:00 PM Another Message
12/2/2008 6:00 AM Next days message
12/3/2008 3:00 PM Next message
3:01 PM Next Message
Name3
Name4
12/1/2008 1:01 AM Some message
1:12 AM Another message
7:00 PM Another Message
Well what happens is if the detail group footer and details summary fall at
the end of a page the the beginning of the next page reprints the 2 headers
and the detail group footer and summary at the top of the next page with no
details. I managed to get the detail group footer and summary to not appear
by changing the bands visibility but the 2 headers still get displayed at
the top of the new page. How can I prevent the Headers from being printed
on the beginning of a page when all the details were printed on the page
before? it only happens if the details complete right at the end of the
page.
Thanks in advance,

Try setting the Group.HeaderForOrphanedFooter property to False and see if
that helps the issue.

I happened to stumble across that setting and I set it to false for all of
the groups and it made no difference. BTW I'm using RB 10.09 if that makes
any difference.

In my testing with 11.04 I am unable to recreate the issue. If possible,
please send a simple example demonstrating the problem that I can run on my
machine to support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.
