Customising ReportExplorer

My requirements officer says we have to customise the ReportExplorer.
Is this possible?

Or should I write my own?

Hello,

Yes, the report explorer can be fully customized. Take a look at the
tutorial located in the \Tutorials\Complete\II. Applications\04.
End-User with Custom Explorer\... directory for an example of how this
can be done.

If you have any other questions on how you might customize this feature,
