Saving extra data / properties in reports

I think I have seen some where that we can save extra data/ properties
with the rtm report file?
if so how? or an example

Hi Kevin,

Do you want to save information to a DB when you save the template file
or do you want data saved actually inside the template file?

To save/load data from a DB with the template, take a look at the
following article.

Otherwise, I believe using Report Parameters would be the best option to
save data with a template file.
