Cannot move dataviews around in Data-tab of report designer

edited May 2012 in General
We have integrated the ropertbuilder designer into our application and
have added code to generate dataviews, or restore them when rereading a
stored report-design.

When we open the designer, and load it with the saved template, in the
Data-tabsheet the dataviews all appear nicely, but you cannot move them
around by dragging their titlebar.

Where can i enable or disable this? Is it a property of the dataview maybe?

thanks

    Hi Bas,

DataViews should always be movable inside the data workspace. Which
version of ReportBuilder and Delphi are you using?

Are you able to reliably create this issue with a simple example or
steps I could take? If so, send them to support@digital-metaphors.com
and I'll take a look at it for you.

It is not very easy to create this issue with a simple example, but we
did discover that this only happens when we apply Windows Theming to our
    aplication.

When the theme set is the default Windows theme that it does not happen

Hope this will help you in reproducing the problem

    Hi Bas,

Please understand that unless we can recreate this issue here on our
machine, there is very little chance we will be able to track down the
    problem.

If Windows Theming is causing the problem, it should not be very
difficult to create a simple example using theming that causes the error.
