Using Calculations in search 11.02

I'm trying to build a report that uses a date search within a datetime field.

I used CONVERT(table.field,SQL_DATE) AS table_field_s in the calcs tab,
but when I try to select table_field_s on the search tab, it always
selects table.field instead.

Is there something that I'm missing, or is the software not able to do this?

We are using ReportBuilder Enterprise 11.02

Hi Steve,

In my testing with RB 14.05, I was able to create a calculated field
similar to yours and correctly select it as a search condition to be
used in the Where clause.

My first suggestion would be to upgrade your version of RB to 11.08 and
retest. If this does not help, try downloading a trial edition of RB
14.05 and test your app with that.
