Shapes and lines

Hi,

Why is that lines and shapes never allign right? Put a vertical line and a
shape at the same left, on printout or preview the position off both
compononts isnt the same, it is always marginall of, i dont understand it
can b that hard 2 get it right.

Hi Filip,

This is a known issue regarding shapes and lines. The issue is that the
Windows API draws these items differently. Lines draw at the actual
left position, whereas shapes are started at the center position and
drawn outward in both directions. ReportBuilder attempts to adjust for
this difference but when dealing in whole number measurements (screen
pixels or printer pixels) there is occasionally a mismatch.

This is a place where the rendering could be improved for ReportBuilder
and is on our list of items to research for a later release.
