EPrintError with Network Printers

edited October 2013 in General

I have a customer getting this error several times a day with multiple
users.

EPrintError
The data area passed to a system call is too small.

They are all using network printers thru Terminal Services. Using
redirected printers works fine as does printing to the network printers thru
a standard Windows program.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Perry Jacobs

    Hi Perry,

We have not seen this error before. What type of printer are they
printing to? Does this happen when printing to every network printer or
just a certain one? Does the terminal client have a default printer
defined and have full access to the printer drivers needed to print?

You mention that this happens multiple time a day. Does this mean that
it works some of the time? What exactly has changed when the error occurs?

    Best Regards,

It is happening on all makes and models of printers. According to the
customer, nothing has changed in the setup of the printers or network. They
can switch to the redirected printer and it works fine but prints slower.
Then they switch back to the network printer after awhile and it works
again. I checked with other customers who are setup the same way and they
work fine. I doubt that it is anything in RB, but I just wanted to see if
you heard of the issue before.

    Thanks,
    Perry
