Using the EndUser project, I cannot get the ppReport1.OnBeforePrint to fire. Is this disabled in the evaluation version? I just placed a simple ShowMessage for the event.
The event-handler must be a published property of the end-user form. See the Templates and EndUser threads of the Tech Tips newsgroups for related articles.
2. RAP (i.e runtime Pascal on the Cacl tab)
The BeforePrint event will NOT fire each time you access the Preview tab while in the report designer. Try saving the report and then select the Preview or Print option from the report explorer.
Comments
Are you using Delphi code or RAP?
