Endless pages when landscape
RB 7.01, D6 SP2 I have a report which consists of on big image only. The
image is of size A5 and is placed on the top left of the page. I want the
image to be printed on the left side of a landscape A4 paper.
If I preview the report or print to any printer using the portrait setting,
I get one page.
If I switch to landscape when slecting the printer, I get an endless numer
of pages, each consiting the report. This is true for our deskjet, laserjet,
even with the Adobe PDF Writer.
Any idea?

Most likely the there is a static height control set somewhere that is never
able to fit on the page in your layout. There is an article in the Digital
Metaphors tech-tips/general newsgroup on resloving an endless pages issue.
Just do a search on 'Endless Pages' and you should find it.

if instead of static items the draw commands did not fit on one Page, take
another one and print the rest on a extra page. So the user could see, the
output and can better change the report. If its printing endless instead he
always thinks, that there is a bug in the engine.
(Number it also like the firstpage)
