Info on joins
Hello,
It appears that all these newsgroups/forums are discussing things at a
developer level. I use Report Builder as a 3rd party add-on to a software
package we purchased. I understand the basics of Report Builder, but I would
like some more information on the more advanced stuff. Some things I don't
quite understand are the different types of joins, using expressions as
search criteria (if possible) and most of the setting/options available when
I right-click on an object in the design view.
Any "advanced" training guides or information would be greatly appreciated.

www.digital-metaphors.com It discusses the reporting process aimed at
developers. There is a Learning ReportBuilder project that you can download
from our website as well which is written for an end user point of view,
working with RB and discusses using the Data workspace. For more information
on SQL, you can surf the web for info on your database's specific SQL syntax
for extra functions that you may wish to call by manually editing our SQL in
the dataviews (if your developer allowed you to do this).

I didn't finish the first statement in my post. Everything seems geared
toward a developer. I am not a developer though. I am looking for some more
"advanced" end user instructions. Any ideas?

Calc and Data workspaces. Research SQL features so that you can create
queries on your database in order to create complex reports with multiple
report groups and detail subreports. Our Developer's Guide has more
information than Learning ReportBuilder so that would be the place to look.
Please ask the vendor who created your application for further support.
