Program hangs when creating new Query Wizard or Query Design.

Hi,
Do you have any idea why the program hangs when I try to select new Query
Wizard or Query Design? (Everything except for ReportBuilder works fine)
I try to connect to the BDE through Oracle driver, but the program just
hangs all the time. The problem is that when I copy the same components into
the new project -everything works.

Moisey,

This issue could be caused by a number of things. Are you able to connect
to your database using BDE directly, not using ReportBuilder but rather a
DBGrid? If you are, be sure that the datasettings in ReportBuilder match
the datasettings you used to connect directly.

Are you able to connect to your Oracle database using our end-user demo?
This demo has been successfully tested with Oracle 8 and Oracle 9i. The
demo is located in the \RBuilder\Demos\4. EndUser Databases\Oracle 8\1.
BDE... directory.

You may want to try a database connection software other than BDE. Direct
Oracle Access has been thoroughly tested and in our experience, works with
ease and stability on an Oracle database. If you still experience this
problem when using our demo, please provide the exact steps you are taking
so we can reproduce the problem here on our own machines and solve the

I finally figured it out.
Don't know why but the reason was in LIST SYNONYMS = ALL in Definition of my
Database
As soon as I switched it to LIST SYNONYMS = NONE everything started to work
fine. (Although it still returns all system tables as well as normal ones).
