ReportBuilder's report editor.

edited June 2003 in End User
Dear All.

I'm currently working on a project where I decided to use ReportBuilder as a
report solution for this project. There is one thing that I found quite
incomfortable at the time I want to edit the report (.rtm), I have to open
the Delphi IDE then double click on TppReport component to open the report
editor. Is there any stand alone ReportBuilder's report editor (similar to
what crystal report has offered)? So I don't have to get involve with the
Delphi IDE. If any of you have made one of this, and don't mind to share it
to me, please let me know.

Thanks to all.

ReportBuilder Professional and Enterprise come with a TppDesigner component
that can be used at runtime to design reports. This is for your end users,
but you as a developer should use it as well to design end user reports.
DADE allows you to create query dataviews and RAP allows you to code event
handlers. For more information, see the DADE and RAP topics in the
Developer's Guide.pdf located in your installation.
