Saving reports to blob fields and different RB versions

Hi,

I plan to store end user reports (.rtm files) to blob streams. Currently
I am using version 6.03.

When moving to version 7 (and future versions), will these reports need
converting and if so will they convert automatically?

The reports will be converted automatically when you load and save a report
in the new format, but between 6.03 and 7.0x, you shouldn't have any problem
converting.

The only part that may come into play is if you are using the offset area of
the file based templates. You'll have to convert this to use a new field in
the database for the offset data you want to store, because the offset area
is not supported in a report template when using databased templates.
