cannot connect ppDBTeeChart to pipeline

hi there

When I add a dbteechart to my report and make a new series, and set the
datasource to dataset I cannot select any of my pipelines.

The other dbcontrols see the pipelines just fine.

Does anyone know why this would be happening

    This is limitation of the TeeChart version that comes bundled with Delphi.
    The registered version does not have this limiration. For details, see the
    RBuilder.hlp, select the table of contents and then select ReportBuilder
    Reference | TeeChart | Delphi X where X is either 5, 6, or 7.

    ok so you cant set it in the IDE, but can you set it in code?

    which properties would I use? ppDPTeeChart1.Chart[0].DataSource or
    ppDPTeeChart1.DataPipeline;
