Title Page going over multiple pages

edited August 2005 in End User
Hi,

I am using V6.03 ReportBuilder

I have a sub-report whihc displays in the title page (its a summary listing)
of the detail that follows within the report. When the sub-report needs to
go over mutliple pages it doesn't. Only the first page of that report
displays. Is there a way to make a title page go over more than one page,
otherwise what is the best way to achieve the desired result?

Thanks

Alex

    Hi Alex,

The Title Band is a dynamic band that has the ability to stretch across
multiple pages. Be sure you have the PrintHeight property set to phDynamic.
Also, in my testing with RB 9.02, the title band stretched across multiple
pages successfully. If you are still unable to get this to work you may
want to try downloading a trial version of the ReportBuilder 9.02 and test
    with that.

    Hi Nico,

In the end-user facility I tried setting the title band to dynamic height.
This has had no effect, it still only prints one page of the sub-report.
Whilst I appreciate downloading RB V9 may resolve my issue, unfortunately we
are not in a position at the moment to convert our applications to V9. Is
it possible to check V6 and see whether that is a feature (or bug) issue and
whether they may be anohter solution (maybe in calculations or something
    similar)?

    Regards

K found a solution, it appears that it will only display a single page if
you specify that the main report title should be n a new page. If I set
that to off, and then in the summary band of the sub-report, set newpage to
true once it hs completed then all informtion shows. A bit of a roundabout
    way but it works.

    Thanks

    Alex
