Report Explorer without database

edited March 2013 in End User
Is it possible to use Report Explorer like Window Explorer, without having a
database?
I would like to save reports in one or more folder.
Best regards.

    Hi Daniele,

This is currently not a feature of the ReportExplorer. It is however a
feature we would like to add for a later release of ReportBuilder.
    Thanks for your feedback.

Now can I change the Report Explorer to make it work offline or there are
    problems?
    Best regards,

    Hi Daniele,

The current Report Explorer is designed to function with report
templates saved to a database only. It does not have any logic to
    access report templates from file.

Allowing file access would likely require a re-design of the Report
    Explorer.

Another useful feature would be to have an ArchiveExplorer, similar to
ReportExplorer but that shows the archive files related to a specific
    report.
