Lexmark Printer generates many many empty pages

edited October 2002 in Devices
Hi everyone,

I have got a problem with RB enterprise 5.56 in Delphi 5 printing on
several Lexmark Optra Printers. When I Preview the Report everthing is
shown in the way it should, when I send it to the Printer it creates a
bunch of empty Sheets until the Report Data appears. I played a lot with
all kind of related Printer Options and found out that the Margin
properties of the Report-Object affects the problem. When I set the
Margin Values to the defaults (0.25 inches) everthing works fine, 0.7867
will not!

Am I Doing something wrong or is this a known Lexmark issue?

Regard,
Michael

There is no known issue like this. As long as the margins are larger than
the unprintable area on the printer (gutter) then it should print correctly.
We have the Lexmark Optra SE 3455. We can test your report on our printer to
see if there is a problem. I created a report with these margin values and
it pritned fine. Make sure you are using the latest printer drivers for the
    Lexmark printers.
