Embedded Fonts in PDF-File

Hi,

we have a problem with the PDF output. In our report we're using a font
called "Variant RoundBold DB" for some text labels. When we export the
report to a PDF file the font isn't embedded.
All labels using this font in the report have the standard Arial font in the
PDF file assigned. The "Variant Round Bold DB" is a normal true type font.
We also tried to use the TExtraDevices from James Waler for creating a PDF
file without any luck. Is that a problem with the font? How can we solve
this problem?

We're using ReportBuilder 9.01 Enterprise with TExtraDevices 2.93.

Hi Alex,

Unfortunately the PDF device included with ReportBuilder does not support
embedded fonts. This is on our wish list for the next major release of
ReportBuilder.
