print to file problems

Hi,

I'm using ReportBuilder Pro v 9.03 with Delphi 7 and have two problems with
printing to text files:

1) Printing reports to a text file produces a blank report.
2) Printing to report emulation text file produces the report but heading
names are truncated.

Hi Rich,

1. Please see the TppTextFileDevice topic in the ReportBuilder help on how
to use the TextFileDevice properly. You will need to set the Save and
SaveLength properties for this device to output a text value.

2. Note that when printing to a text file, your options with fonts and line
spacing are very limited. Take a look at Demo 107 located in the
\RBuilder\Demos\1. Reports\... directory for an example of what the Report
Emulation Text File Device is capable of.
