Not Default Printer and Acessing Data problem

edited April 2008 in Devices
Delphi 7 Build 8.1
ReportBuilder Professional Edition 7.03

When I print something on anything except the default printer, the program
just sits
there at the "Accessing Data..." dialog.
The preview works fine so I know it's not a problem with the DB. It seems
to be a problem with the spooler.
If I monitor with system monitor the CPU stays at 100% and the memory slowly
gets eaten up. When I look at the printer queue it just sits at spooling.

I don't think it's a bug in RB because I have other reports that work, even
this report works ost of the time. I'm just wondering what might cause
this. I'm not doing anything low-level and I definately haven't messed
around in DM's code.
Basically generate the report, call report.print. (That's another thing, if
the report is already generated by previewing it, What is the data that it's
still accessing?)

The report prints bills, for the majority of the bills it's fine, but for
some bills the reports sits at the "Accessing Data..." dialog.
If I go to the next page and then print, it works fine.

Thank you in advance

Luis

    Hi Luis,

This is not a known issue. I would first suggest updating your version of
ReportBuilder to the latest RB 7 version (7.04). For updating instructions,
please send your serial number and purchasing email address to
    info@digital-metaphors.com.

If this does not fix the issue, try downloading a trial edition of the
latest version of ReportBuilder (10.07) and see if that fixes the problem.
