Getting the value of a ppVariable out of a subreport into the main report (End-User)

Hi folks,

This is End-User RAP. I saw a thread with an example of keeping a running
total in a subreport using a global variable. What I'm trying to do is get
the result of a ppVariable that is in a subreport for each group and pull
that out to a ppVariable in the Footer band of the main report. I'm having
some trouble with the timing, when do I reset the global Variable to zero.
Has anyone done something like this and could post an example of their RAP
code?
