Server licensing

If I develop a report server and deploy it to a single location (server)that
has 4 CPU's, is it going to cost me 4 x $999? Or is it $999 for the
development license and single deployment license, and then a break on the
additional deployment licenses?

    Deployment licenses are US $250 per CPU.

    There Server Edition includes a development license and a single CPU
    deployment license.

    1. You can upgrade from Enterprise to Server for $799.00.

    2. The addition deployment cost for your example would be 3 CPU's * $250
    = $750.
