message : invalid sessionid with reports with autosearch values in .ASP

edited September 2002 in Server
I am getting the message 'invalid sessionid' when I open a report in .ASP
with enabled autosearchfields. Reports without autosearch fields run fine.

Can anyone help me?

I just tried this using the main demo server (RBServer\Demos\Servers\01.
Main) and the ASP example (RBServer\Demos\Web Tier\ASP) and the
    autosearch functionality is working.

    Can you try the above?

    Dear Nard,

I am able to duplicate this and will research it.

My guess is that the webtier has a problem creating a new report session
within this context. When you call it from the explorer it will pass
"SessionID=XXXXX" where XXXXX is a sessionID allocated by the initial
URL call that generates the report explorer content.

I think if you pass it an additional parameter that has a valid session
    id it may work.

We'll find a solution for this or fix it if its a bug.
