7.02 and memory usage
Hi,
Have you changed the memory model used for cached pages with the thin client
/ web tier in RB 7.02. My reports seem to be using significantly less memory
than with 7.01 and seem to be faster too! This is great news of course but
I'm just wondering if this is part of this release or was I doing something
to mess 7.01 up.
Thanks
Simon Callcott
BTW the new functionality in 7.02 is fantastic.

Thanks for the positive feedback!
In RB 7.02, the ClientReport uses temp file based page caching, rather than
memory page caching. We made this change based on customer feedback - I
think you may have been the one who reported it.

Whatever you did it certainly works, all my previously large 1000+ reports
now work great with the thin client / web tier. I applaud your customer
support.
Many Thanks.
Simon.
