Upgrade to 6.01 report conversion question
We are currently using RBuilder Enterprise 5.56. If we upgrade to 6.01,
will our report formats be converted? The upgrade to 5.5 took a
considerable amount of time, as all of our reports (250+) had to be opened
(in the designer), saved and closed for the conversion process to take
place, plus we had to make a considerable number of changes to many of our
query designer calc expressions to make them work with the new MagicSQL
paradigm. If we upgrade to version 6.01, will we need to deal with any more
issues such as the MagicSQL? We will need to know so we can allocate our
time appropriately if we want to upgrade. Thanks.

i also has upgraded. After saving the Reports with 6.01 they could not be
read by 5.56 Engine. So keep the older Reports on a save place, til you are
sure, you will never need them.
If you dont save them, they will be converted on the fly and will still work
directly on 6.01.

So far I have made a request that you submit something specific besides
'Doesn't work.' so that we could help you resolve any issues you may have.
If this request from the creators of the product to take time out of their
day to help you is not sufficient, then I apologize. It's the best we have
to offer.
So, we await the details of any problems you may have...
