I have created packages for myself that will allow RBuilder 6.01 to work
with BCB 5.

They DO NOT support the BDE, they have full support for the TDataset.

The reason they don't support the BDE is because it would have take too long
to modify the code in order for it to work in BCB, so I decided since I
don't use the BDE...bye,bye BDE support.

In order for them to work there are a few changes that you have to make to
the RBuilder source.

If anyone wants them, send me an email at reggiewhite@lvcm.com .

NOTE: You have to have the source for RBuilder 6.01 and using BCB 5 Pro and
above.

That's rockin' man. We are definitely interested in building and supporting
a CBuilder version. We built BCB support for RB5.0, but we couldn't keep
supporting it as we changed RB's source for Delphi and the BCB version
subsequently fell out of date.

Hello,

I'm pretty interested on this as well. We use BCB5 and QR / And we are
looking for a change. RB looks the best but... No new BCB version.

Can we help? How do you port it. Froms the Sources... We don't have RB at
all and it's expensive for test if we can use it. Obviously the trial
version will not have the sources Does it?

Correct, you'll have to purchase a registered version of RB to get access to
our source.

You have to have the source, I can not distribute RB source code.
