Negative Numbers w/Dollar Sign

I am trying to set the displayformat property to display negative dollar
amountd using a "-" sign instead of parantheses. I choose the proper format
from the displayformat box ($#,0.00;-$#,0.00) but it still shows parantheses
for negative dollars. If the dollar sign is not included it works fine. Any
suggestions on how to make this work?

The reason you are seeing the parenthesis is that it is dependent on your
Windows regional settings for currency. You can replace the display formats
as they are fully customizable and extend that way that the display formatis
is applied to the output. There is an example of this you can download at:
