Groups Not Breaking

edited October 2001 in General
Have D5E with RBE5.## (latest). One table which has
an index applied to it. Want to break the page each
time one of the two groups changes. Doesn't work.

The records print in the correct order but there are
now page breaks driven by the groups. What could
I be doing wrong. (This report worked last year with
whatever was the current version of RBE was.)

Weird problem. I reversed the order of the two groups
and the report started to at least bread and start new
page numbers (which it hadn't before). I then put the
groups back into the desired order and it worked!
    Why is this happening?

If you have nested groups, then what you should see is that the outermost
group, where StartNewPage=True, is the only one that is being honored to
cause page breaks. This is how the groups are designed to work. Perhaps, by
changing the group values, you're able to workaround this check in the
    groups dialog.
