Error Open .RTM !.

edited October 2001 in General
Hello,

I worked in a personal computer where the operating system is a Win98 IF,
and the work paste is: C:\SIMP\Projeto\RelatRB

In this directory, they are files.RTM

Last week, the new personal computer arrived and in this personal computer I
installed Win2000 Professional and partition Winchester in two units:
C:D:

I placed the Project in D:\SIMP\Projeto\RelatRB.

When I try to open .RTM in that unit D:, RB lifts an exception in memory and
closes Delphi!.

1) I tried to create the same paste of the old personal computer
"C:\SIMP\Projeto\RelatRB" and later to save in D:, but, the same mistake
happens;

2) I tried to change the property Template\FileName for the directory in D:
and the same mistake happens.

3) I tried to remove the string where indicates the unit of the property
Template\FileName and to open direct in the tppReport and, the same mistake
happens;

I didn't only try still to change directly in RTM the line following:
Template.FileName!C:\SIMP\Projeto\RelatRB\Nfpmj.rtm

Is the exit?. If it goes, do I need an Editor Hexa?

Please, I need a clue for not having to re-do this report!.

Thank you,
Anderson - AHR.

    We don't have any problems loading a report from one drive to another, even
    when it wasn't originally saved there from a report object. Perhaps the
    template is corrupt in some other way? You can save the template down as
    ASCII text format to check it out. Are there any custom components in the
    template that can't be streamed up on the new machine, if they aren't
    installed into Delphi? Is the version of RB numerically higher than the one
    from the older machine?

    The problem was not really in Drive and it was not also in S.O.

    In PAS/FORM of the new personal computer delete component. This same one
    component I read in RB, and now appears this mistake!. I already removed of
    the.DFM, but, the mistake persists!

    I will re-do this report!. But, whenever me delete component that is in the
    Are .PAS/FORM and I using the component in RB I lose my Relatori ?
