I have been having trouble getting this to work. If I pass in a session id, it seems to do what I am expecting, but if I do not pass in a session id, then I am still getting prompted with the autosearch screen.
I am trying to link a report to an intranet page, and am looking for a url to call a specific report (and pass in the parameters to the autosearch form). How would I get a session id at this point to pass in?
In taking a second look at this, I realized that I may be expecting functionality here with autosearch that is not intended...
What I want to do is fill in the values for the autosearch form and not have the user see the autosearch form at all. Is this approach supposed to allow the form to be skipped?
I researched this once before and found that you need to have an existing Session Id. You can run multiple reports from a single session id - if that helps any.
