Ok, but what could cause it.

When going with a regular client to the server everything works fine.
When going with the webtier ....
And in no logging i'm getting an error.

If in the process that writes the files into the cache something goew wrong,
    is there a logging ...

I dropped this issue for a while as i had no time to continue on it.
The next 3 weeks i'll be out of the office too.
But somewhere in the balck box of the webtier this goes wrong, without any
    exception raised.
I can't generate an example on this but it would be great that development
goes into the code en eventually check how this could happend and why no
    error is generated !!

    Kind Regards

Another customer in this newsgroup is reporting the same issue. I cannot
recreate the error here, however I examined the code that writes to the
cache and found something that looks strange. I have created a patch that
might help. Send an email to support@digital-metaphors.com and request the
patch. Let us know what version of Delphi your using. I assume you are using
RB 9.02. Use your registered email address (no hotmail accounts please).

I did install the patch, the views are working but ...

in a report that has 4 pages, i'm getting page 1, 2 and 4, for the thirth is
got 'TrsWebTier.ProcessRequest: No response was generated by the content
    provider '.

    Any ideas ??

I have no idea. I do not think this is related to the other issue - but I
could be wrong. I sent that fix to another customer and he reported that it
fixed the issue with the treeview and that everything is working properly.

Correct, the tree's are generated without any problems ..

But this behaviour is the first time i've seen it.
I switched back to my old versions (wich where still a 9.01) and the problem
    disappeared.

BTW, The View problem only poped-up with my first 9.02 build.

So Conclusion with 9.02, the view problem was solved but another one started
    to manifest himself .....

    Don't we love IT.

Does this happen with any of the RB Server demos? Or if not, can you create
    a simple example?

Also, perhaps try testing with a client report and the web tier to test
whether both produce the same results.
