Pound Symbol On Reports

edited February 2006 in Server
Hello

I was hoping that this issue had been resolved in report builder 10 server
but it hasnt.

I have an issue where the ? symbol does not show up on reports shown through
the webtier after the first page

Has someone else had this problem?

It can be easily reproduced (hopefully by Digital Metaphors as well) by
putting a ? symbol in the heading of a multiple page report. The symbol
will be fine on page 1 but if you go to page 2 its incorrect and then if you
go back to page 1 its wrong.

This is a huge problem for us and we really need it fixed

Cheers

Paul

I just researched this further and have created a mod that you can try.
Email support@digital-metaphors.com and let me know what version of Delphi
    you are using.

In the past I have researched this several times and never found a solution.
I only experience the issue when testing with FireFox, IE works fine. I
think the problem is that FireFox does not like the encoding=UTF-8
declaration. I have removed it and performed a test and both browsers
display the pound symbol in my tests here.

I have researched this in the past and it seems to only occur when testing
    with FireFox, IE
