Setting a dbtext to BOLD depending on the value of another field in THIS ROW

We are trying to set a font style on a dbtext depending on the

value of another field in the same record, but do not understand how

to tell WHICH dbtext is firing. We are using ongettext. We have tried
several

attributes - but how to tell WHICH dbtext is firing, or rather how to set a
specific

dbtext when its all hidden in side RB and is accessed in all odd order, as
evidenced

by the activity in ongettext.
