Diagramm + Crosstab page counter

edited August 2002 in General
Hi there,

I'm currently trying to include a diagramm and a crosstab into one report.
I included a sub-report into the title band of the main report. The
sub-report contains the diagramm plus header and footer, the main report the
crosstab plus header and footer (and the title with the sub-report).
It works fine but in both report footers I have a page counter and it
doesn't show the expected results. On the first page (which contains the
diagramm) it shows only "Page 1 of 1" whereas on the second page it starts
with "Page 2 of X" and goes on then.
So the crosstab pages are correct but is there a way to get the total page
count into the diagramm footer?
For example I have a report with a total of 4 pages. The first one is the
diagramm which should show "Page 1 of 4" and not "Page 1 of 1". As stated
above the crossatb pages show it correctly ("Page x of 4").

You'll need to configure the main report PassSetting = psTwoPass so that the
page count is known when the first page is generated.

It's already set to two-pass (in the report menu).

Perhaps it has something to do with my pipelines.
In the main report I have set the pipeline to and the crosstab
pipeline to the pipeline that should be used for it. That's to prevent an
    endless amount of crosstabs.
To prevent endless pages with the diagramm I have set up a dummy pipeline
with only one dataset which I have assigned to the subreport. The diagramm
itself has then set the correct pipeline.

Perhaps this dummy pipeline causes the error.

I've found the problem now. I had to disable the footer in my subreport
because it contains another page counter. If the subreport fits on less than
one page it is assigned the main footer automatically, so you have a
    continuous page counter.
