Sequential Numbering in Detail Band

I would like to include a line number for each detail band that is output,
so the first record output would numbered 1, the second 2, etc. I tried
using a global variable and incrementing the value thru a TppVariable onCalc
event. This works, but only if the report is not previewed and multiple
pages a viewed, since the global variable continues to increment.

I could generate the value in the dataset, but I was hoping there was an
easy method to generate the value in the report. Any suggestions?

Use a TppDBCalc component in thedetail band and set its DBCalcType property
to count.
