Teechart - Dataset combobox is empty.

Dataset combobox is empty.

I have a form, full of Queries, DataSources and Reports.

Into a Report,
I add a DBChart
I add a serie
I go to the Datasource Tab
I choose Dataset,
but the Dataset combobox is empty.

Does anybody has a glue about what is going wrong ?

I use R.B. Standard version 7.01

One of the reasons I've made the upgrade was
that I would not need to buy TeeChart Pro to print
graphics using R.B.

See the Teechart topic in the help file which summarizes this issue. You can
compile the old reports without having to use packages, because the UI units
are broken out in our wrapper packages. If you want to modify the charts
using
the datasource, then you'll have to do it at runtime using runtime packages
and
our runtime report designer.

Status Notes

Within the Delphi IDE:

Cannot assign a data pipeline to a newly created data-aware TeeChart.
Cannot modify an existing data-aware TeeChart created with previous
versions of RB and TeeChart.


Within the end-user report designer (at run-time):

Fully Operational
