Further Invaild Template Issues

A return of the dreaded 'Invaild Template' error has occurred. A report that
is created in our modified Reportbuilder will not open in our modified
server. We have included the modified source code in the server build.

Reports were generating from the server before I switched to our modified
system.

What other areas can I check for incompatibility?
Also any other tips/ tricks for including modified code in a server?

A further note we have just found ReportBuilder will open the report if it
has been saved out to file. If it has been saved to the database it will not
open the report but give a Invalid Template error. Is it possible for a
database to corrupt a file?

When you save the report to file, use windows explorer to check the file
size. Is the .rtm size larger than your report definitions? If so, make sure
that the database is configured to support it.

Hopefully you are not using the BDE, this type of error is common with the
BDE and can be corrected by increasing the BDE settings for MaxBlobSize and
BlobsToCache. However, I strongly recommend using a non BDE solution to
implement a server.
