AutoSearch Values and Use of Parameters in Webtier

Is there any difference in calling a specific report with parameters in the
url that is different when one is using report parameters in the autosearch
versus autosearch values?

This is not calling from the generated web page report explorer. This is
calling a specific report directly and supplying the parameters for the
queryfields of the url.

The reports filter properly when I use the basic autosearch value way but
not if I use report parameters to supply the report filter values in the
autosearch.

I am thinking there is some subtle difference between the assignment naming
between the two types of supplied values.

Are you using RB 11 and configuring Report.Parameters with
Paremter.AutoSearchSettings.Enabled set to True? And then using the Query
Designer to bind the query search criteria to the parameter?

I am not quite clear on what you are trying to accomplish. I can try to
setup a test here, once I am clear.
